Me!

Hey y'all! Forgive me if I'm not terribly good at this... I don't usually talk about myself in paragraph form.

Obviously, I'm Lauryn and a true Texan. I have been writing poetry since August of last year. I'm not much of a story writer, but I love reading them. That's probably why Opuss is suh an awesome choice for any of us.

My birthday is February 19th, so I'm a Pisces.

I'm often mistaken for being 16 or 17, but in reality, I am 14 years old. My emotional age, however... It can be triggered quite easily but when I'm not under the gun, I'm actually wise and truthful, as I'm sure some of you have figured out.

My favorite (yes, favorite. Not favourite. I'm not blessed being British like most of y'all.) kind of music is country. There is always the exception of Adele, Dido, Maroon 5, 3 Days Grace, and Papa Roach.

Umm my favorite animal would have to be a lion cub. I would adore to have one as a pet. I have 1 cat, Sinatra, and 2 small-ish dogs, TinkerBell and Penny.

I love drawing, writing, and doing anything musical.
I hate shopping. Unusual for a teenage girl, I know. But I absolutely despise it.

Religion isn't all that big in my life right now, I must admit.

I love to sing. I have 2 songs on YouTube. TaintedTulip- That Smile, in case you get curious. I have stage fright so singing around others is quite a challenge. Hence the videos.

You will find that I am quirky and most definitely unique.

I believe being yourself is an importance. If not around others, than at least in your passions. In my case, around my old friends and in my writing.. Where I know I won't be judged or broken down. I'll be supported and helped through all the hard times.
