Natures Chatter

Let the rain fall
Upon my face
I welcome it here
With a comforting embrace

Only small droplets
Gradually descending faster
Wind blows harshly
My breath I try to capture

Keeps coming
Down upon me
This is peace
Setting me free

A whisper in the tree
Tossing of my hair
Rustle of the leaves
As I stand here bare

A sudden pour
Soaking me all over
Dark clouds
Begin to hover

Send a kiss
To all unknown
The rain hastens
Branches are thrown

Sheets upon sheets
Giving me hope
A glint in my eye
As the rain begins to cope

All calms down
To a sweet pitter patter
Stay outside
To listen to Natures Chatter

Cuauhtemoc

August light catches the roosting falcon. In Indian summer twilight. A momentary lapse in the sombre hues. Cast from the sinking sun. A pause enough for the pale grey feathers. To catch fire.

Nature

The mornings crisp air. A soft mist circles around. The dense forest. Different shades of green. Hear the animals calling. See the sunlight through the leaves. Sparkling patches of light.
