There he is
Sitting next to me
Still with that look
Of a whole new being
He glances at times
His eyes asking why
Why I changed so much?
Why can't we spend more time just us two?
I have so many questions
But I'll get so little answers
So I keep it inside
Like always
He looks at his phone
Then glances at me
His 3 year old daughter and I
Look so much alike
I write this now
As she lays on his lap
They're both watching spongebob
Very entertaining
I look at my 3 year old sis
I can't wait to see
Who she is when she grows up
Because her dad'll be there for her
We're so alike
But it'll be so different
She'll always have her father
While I dont.
I'm ready for her
To have more than I
I'm not jealous one bit
Leaving my dad behind
He has a new family
Not with me
So I'll let him live his new life
Happily, without me.
