I used to wake you up
Every single night
I had heard a bump
That had given me a big fright
I once tugged on your shoulder
Pleaded for an hour
To sleep in your comfy bed
While you took a shower
I would beg you to come
And that you would
But never said yes or no
Just surprised me very good
I always wanted to be with you
And all your friends
You didn't really like that
So you put it to an end
Every day, I'd do what you ask
Every day, I'd ask for hugs
Every day, I'd say I love you
And every day, you'd say it too
You're the sister
Who lost most things she loved
Who was shattered with pain
And yet found time, to love me.
Our oldest sis,
Was a true mom
And you were her valiant soldier
No clue where from
You both tried so hard
I'm just learning about it all
Y'all were the ones
There for each fall
I think of you both now
As I let out a tear
I can only thank you
For holding me dear
You inspire so much
Just for fighting on
Through all your pain,
You've loved me from day one
I send warm thoughts
And bunches of hugs.
I wish you a good sleep
As I give you my love.
