I trudged home, letting my bag bash my leg painfully. My thoughts never left the subject of Jacob Foster, a boy who'd only joined our class in maths, 20 minuets ago.
I had no idea why my mind was uncontrollable, whenever I tried to change the subject, it came straight back, and I tried to wonder (with out Jacob's face joining me) why it happened to be him.
From strange conclusions such as 'Mind Controller' to 'New Face Adjustment' I managed to find something possibly accurate.
Maybe if I got to know him better, I could ask him to the dance.
I knew it was probably going to be impossible due to the fact that Missy Grace would steal him and call him her own, but it was time I tried to do something different. I mean, it wasn't like I was unpopular, I knew, and liked, pretty much everyone, and not to be self-centred, but people knew and liked me back. I could just about manage one boy, right?
I suddenly had a spark of inspiration.
If I got Jay, my girl-mate, to help me man-up, I could possibly get away with this.
I knew I had to sleep on that.
