I rest my head down on the mattress
All my thoughts and worries I dismiss,
I close my eyes, relax my mind,
Leaving my dozing conscience behind.

A tranquil scene shifts into my head,
A sandy beach with waves up ahead,
The ground is warm with the sun's yellow rays,
Caped with rosy light and a glowing haze.

The lapping waves brush against the shore,
Clapping with joy at the chance to explore,
Intricate shells embedded in the sand,
Relishing the chance to sleep on dry land.

Suddenly darkness tinges at the sides of my eyes,
The familiar view of my bedroom applies,
My mind stops sleeping and my brain activates,
As another day of dreaming awaits.
