Open my chest and rip it free,
Hold it, in your hands, the life of me.
Pull it out and squeeze it tight,
Ignore the pleas, the cries of my plight.
Lay it down and watch it beat,
The rippling vessels stuck on repeat.
Slowing down now, your focus is strained,
The organ looks pale, abundantly drained.
You lose interest and walk away, discarding my life part,
You walk from me, after breaking my heart.
