It's easy to blame yourself for a parent leaving.
I must have done something, I must be wrong.
In truth, the realisation of the matter is that parents are human; some humans are selfish.
I could go as far as saying most, but I'd like in this instance not to generalise.
When a parent leaves, the child is left with a sense of displacement or even self dissatisfaction.
It was not you.
It was them.
Children are a product of their genealogy and upbringing. Experiences shape who we become and how we view the world.
Everyone should be responsible for their own thoughts, feelings and actions. Deflecting is bad! Mmm'k
