Today a friend asked me about uni and if I had any advice for her, given that I graduated in 2009......my advice.....STAY AS LONG AS POSSIBLE!!! Defer, resit, take a masters, do a PhD so anything.......but for gods sake don't become a graduate and don't fall for the lie they tell you that once you have graduated you get handed a vintage bottle of Dom, a yacht in Cannes and the job of your dreams........most of the time you wind up on a deli counter scooping out olives for the masses and answering questions about the potential cold meats you could serve with cottage cheese.......not that I'm bitter or anything :)
