Black Sun

On a winters day not so long ago,
Before the sun had risen,
When the weather was cold,

A man arrived, his eyes full of malice,
Came into town,
Declared it his palace,

Called all to join him in his unholy war,
To kill the gods
And bring them to the floor,

He gathered the support of local villains,
Who ran through the street,
Vandalised and pillaged,

Forced all to join him, forced all to obey,
And they found me,
In the very same way,

But they could not contend with my mighty strength,
And I would never join,
This terrible fiend,

I walked up to him, and spoke to his face,
Told him to go away,
To leave this place,

He looked at me and merely smiled,
"Resisting me,
Is futile",

"I shall join you when a black sun rises!"
He said "Turn around",
Where I found my surprises,

A black sun rose up from the horizon,
I looked at him and he smiled,
Crap.
