Life's Rules

So cold out there,
No flashing light,
Everyone's in their lair,
Waiting through the night

We'll all sleep alone tonight,
Abandoning all the life,
Then deserting it in the twilight,
Leaving with all our strife

Tearing up the empty pages,
Bag in hand we know it all,
Spending our little wages,
And that will be our fall

We throw our words away, As if they were not gold,
Life cannot be put in replay,
Disobeying the rules we were told

Trilogy

@Trilogy

I am Ellenor, I am 12 years old. My hobbies are listening to music, choreographing dances and writing parodies to my favourite songs. My fave genre of book is fantasy. I enjoy the Hunger Games (I have read it twice it a row), The Lord of the rings, The Hobbit and Harry Potter. I am so sorry I can't be a better writer and poet but I try my best. I just do it anyway because it is the perfect cure for boredom.
