Chapter 18
I walked down stairs and found Jessica and Sam on couch. What do I say? Sam I need your car? Sam can we… no not that how about
“Emmm…. Sam. Can I see you outside for a minute?” I asked. They both looked around.
“Sure. I’ll be right back jess” He kissed her and walked outside. “What’s up?” Sam was smiling. He knew what I was going to talk about.
“I need your car” I announced.
“Amazing way to ask me for a kiss”
“I’m not asking you. I just need your car and if I have to kiss you then I’ll kiss you” Sam was still smiling.
“Awww you know you want to baby” I sighed. “So you wanna kiss me?
“Yes” He smiled “Just get this over with”
“Let’s do this in your room”
“Why? Because you think Jessica will see?” I laughed.
“Well if you don’t want Jessica as your friend, I guess we should do it here. I don’t mind where we kiss baby” He was so cruel.
“You’re right. The room” Sam took my hand and took me upstairs. We sat on my bed and he had one arm around me. “You promise this will be the end of it and you won’t tell Damien”
“I can promise I won’t tell Damien, but it won’t be the end of it” He replied. Ughhh.
“Ughh”
“Don’t worry I’ve been told I’m a good kisser” By who? Your mother! I closed my eyes and breathed silently. Could I do this? I can’t back out now! I suddenly felt lips touch mine and hands on my shoulders. This cannot be happening! His lips were so soft and his kiss felt… I can’t believe I’m saying this… better than Damien’s. No.
I wanted more so I kissed him harder and he pulled me down onto the bed. My hands slid up his shirt.
“Not here baby. We can’t do this here” Sam said softly before returning to kiss me. Oh my god. What the hell was I doing? I broke off. “What’s wrong?”
“I can’t do this” I whispered. How could I cheat on Damien?
“It’s alright. Shhh I’m not telling Damien” He kissed my lips.
“I know, but it’s not right” I replied pushing him away.
“I know you want me” I don’t. Well… I like him and he’s hot but….
“I don’t”
“Don’t lie to yourself. Just kiss me again” So tempting, but I can’t.
“No I can’t” Please don’t ask me again or I’m going to say yes.
“Would you like me to drive you to Damien’s?” YES! I mean he won’t do anything to hurt me right?
“Yes” I replied.
“Come on then baby” Sam whispered in my ear.
“Don’t call me that”
“Sure” We walked downstairs and found Jessica. She looked a little confused.
“Jessica baby? I need to take Christine to Damien’s. I’ll be back soon” That cheating swine!
“Ok. Bye” We walked off and got into Sam’s car. I was still angry with him for acting like this to Jessica but I needed the car.
“Changed your mind about kissing me again?” He whispered into my ear. Too close!
“No. I will never change my mind. Ever” I hissed.
“Ok” He drove off. 10 minutes later we were at Damien’s house.
“Thank you”
“Hey, I’m waiting here. You will be back in less than 10 minutes” Huh? I’ll be with Damien!
“How do you know that?”
“Go find out” I walked towards the house and knocked on the door… No answer… Damien? Maybe this is what Sam meant… he wasn’t in? I decided to look through the window. OH MY GOD! He was there… with a girl…. He was cheating on me? Tears sprang to my eyes and I ran off. I needed to get as far away as possible. “Come here baby” Sam whispered. He took me in his arms and put me in the car.
I would not cry. Not in front of Sam. I hated Damien. He drove me away and we stopped in some deserted car park. He climbed in the back.
“Come here sweetie” I followed him into the back and he put his arms around me. “Awww baby. It’s alright. I’m here” Sam whispered in my ear as I cried. “It’s alright” That’s it! I couldn’t take it anymore. My heart was broken and Sam was trying to fix it. I kissed him.
“I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have-”
“No. that was good” I kissed him again and this time he didn’t let me brake off. He grabbed my waist and continued to kiss me. He stopped for a second but I needed him.
“Kiss me. Kiss me” I begged. He smiled and obeyed. I kissed him harder and he lay me down on the back seat.
That’s when I heard the window smash. I screamed and held onto Sam. Damien had smashed the window. WHAT THE HELL?
“Get off her you dog” He shouted and grabbed my arm but I pulled back. “Come with me”
“What the hell?” I shouted as a reply “No. I hate you”
“What?” Damien said looking confused. He was confused? HA!
“Ughhhh. You cheated on me” Sam had hold of me tight so I couldn’t get away. I didn’t want to go.
“What? No! I would never-” Damien was cut off by Sam.
“How could you do that to her?” Sam put his arms around my waist from behind me.
“You’re not talking about…. Oh my god. That girl in my house?” I nodded “Jesus Christ that was my sister!” He shouted. No… No… No… This cannot be happening! I kissed Sam and he wasn’t even cheating on me “You knew didn’t you?” Was that directed at me? I didn’t know it was his sister. “You made her think that! I’m going to kill you. Christine come with me” I couldn’t.
“I-I can’t”
“Why?” Sam. The situation. I couldn’t leave him.
“I can’t leave him” Sam smiled.
“Christine! He knew it was my sister” I don’t-
“I don’t think he did”
“Believe me he did”
“How can she even be sure that it was your sister?” Sam said, calmly. Oh my god! Damien could have been lying to me! “Baby until he proves it, you should stay with me” He pulled me closer.
“Seriously? Don’t do this”
“I- I can’t be sure” I stammered, about to cry.
“Ok… I’ll do whatever I can to prove it just don’t be with Sam” Damien begged.
“She can do what she likes” Sam said.
“Please don’t do this” Tears filled my eyes. I opened my mouth to say something but closed it again. “Fine! I’ll prove it! Do whatever the hell you like with him!” Damien walked off.
“Don’t worry. He’ll be back” I put my head on his chest and he kissed my head…
