LUNAR LOVE, CHAPTER 5

I really hope you enjoy this. It's chapter 5, patch and Cassandra's date. Strange date but who cares.

Chapter 5
Patch stood at the door with his mouth hanging open. I smiled, did he like it?
“Wow” he said. “You look amazing” yep, there’s my answer
“Thank you” I replied.
“Shall we?” He asked, taking my hand.
“Yes” I nodded. He took me outside and we walked into the forest. Ok… Calm down. If he was going to hurt me he would have done it a while back. So he’s not going to hurt me, what is he going to do? I was left wondering…
Soon we had come to a house, much like the one in my dream. Was it a dream? It had seemed so real.
“Cassandra I need you to stay here and not be alarmed by what I show you” I nodded. What was he going on about? “Cassandra?” He asked
“Yes?” I replied.
“Before I show you I need to tell you something?” I nodded again. “Cassandra I love you. I mean I really love you and I hope that you love me this much too” Of course I loved him. Who wouldn’t?
“I do. I really love you” I cried with joy. He smiled and he kissed me passionately just as he had that morning.
“I need to show you, I can’t let you fall in love with me like this if you don’t want to be with me”
“It’s a little late for that” I said blushing. He sighed.
“I know. Right. How to do this?” He asked himself. “Ok, step back” I moved a few metres back. Patch jumped up into the air and his clothes were ripped into shreds. It wasn’t patch that stood before me now, it was my wolf. My eyes widened and my eyebrows rose. I grabbed my arm and pinched it. Ouch… oh god I was actually awake. Why was I so shocked? I knew this.
“I knew I wasn’t dreaming” I said. What? Patch turns into a werewolf and I say ‘I knew I wasn’t dreaming’ “And you thought I wouldn’t want to be with you” My wolf… I mean patch nodded. “Forget team Jacob, its team patch” The wolf smiled. I ran to him, hugging him tight. “Can I ask you some questions?” I asked my voice high and squeaky. Well my voice should be like that I’ve just found out my boyfriend is a werewolf.
Yes. But Emmm…. I kinda need to go inside first and Emmm… get some clothes. He thought.
“Oh Emmm… sure” Patch ran off and into the house. I heard him run up the stairs before I started walking to the entrance of his house. It was cold outside but I didn’t enter his house. Instead I turned around and stared at the surrounding forest. I prepared my questions…
How long had he been like this?
Why was he like this?
Do you ever age?
Is there vampires?
Who else have you told?
Are there any others like you?
Is your real name patch?
Can I become like you?
Just then someone grabbed me by the waist from behind, put their head on my shoulder and kiss my neck. I gasped.
“You scared me” I whispered. I turned around to find patch in his human form.
“Sorry” He replied smiling. I stared into his eyes, his hands still around my waist. “Do you want to go to the beach?” Seconds went by. The beach!!!! Say something Cassandra, My head screamed. But I couldn’t. I tried to say something. Nope that’s failing, so I only nodded. He smiled and took my hand.
A few minutes later we arrived at the beach. It was abandoned, well apart from the couple that sat on the other side of the beach. We sat down and I decided I needed to speak.
“Would now be a good time to ask my questions?” I asked. Please let it be a good time.
“Ask away. I have nothing to hide now” I smiled. Ok question number one…
“How long have you been a werewolf?” oh my gosh I shouldn’t have asked that question first.
“Three years” Patch answered simply. I thought he had been like this for much longer than that.
“is your name really patch?” I asked, needing to know the answer.
“Yes” Few thank god. Patch laughed. “What are you laughing at?”
“You thought I’d lie to you?” I nodded. “I wouldn’t” I carried on with my questions.
“Could a human become like you?” What happened to all the easy questions? What I really wanted to say was could I become like you?
“Yes, but no you’re not becoming like me” He said sighing.
“Why?” I asked, feeling hurt. He didn’t want me to be a wolf with him?
“Because it’s painful and I’m not doing that to you” He whispered.
“How would I become like you?” What could be so painful?
“If I said I had to bite you, does it make me sound like a vampire?” He smiled. Yes.
“A little” I laughed “What’s so painful about a bite? I mean its hurts, yeah, but it’s not agony”
“I have to bite you and kill you. That’s what makes it so painful” What? How the hell do you kill someone by biting them?
“The neck or the wrist” He answered. Huh? How did he-? I looked at him confused. Then I understood.
“Oh I forgot you could read minds” I mumbled, feeling stupid.
“Funny how you know that and I haven’t even told you. Maybe you’re the one who can read minds” He laughed.
“I guessed it, considering I could hear you in my head. Or I could just be going insane” was I going insane?
“You could be going insane and imagining me up” His lips twitched into a smile.
“Nobody could imagine you up. Your too handsome.” Wait… did I just say that? Ughhh… now I feel strange. It was true he was amazingly handsome but I just didn’t think I’d be saying that out loud. I blushed.
“Thank you Cassandra. You know you’re the prettiest girl I’ve ever seen” I blushed again.
“Thank you” We sat there in silence for a few minutes. I stared at him and then his eyes sparkled like he had an idea.
“Hey Cassandra?” Patch asked.
“Yes?” I replied.
“Bet you can’t catch me.” He jumped up from the sand and ran. I got up laughing.
“Oh my gosh your so childish” I shouted running after him.
“You’re not going to catch me.” He laughed turning around and running backwards. I ran faster and caught up to him, grabbing his shirt as I said,
“Gotcha” He laughed.
“My turn now” Patch whispered. I turned and ran. My head turned slightly to see where he was and I found him running next to me. I screamed and he laughed as he grabbed me and picked me up.
“Patch what are you doing?” I asked between kisses.
“I’m going throw you in” Oh my gosh, he was going to throw me in the sea.
“What? No” I shouted
“Yep”
“What would you say if I said I couldn’t swim?” That’s sure to make him stop.
“I wouldn’t throw you in, but I know you can swim. Mind reader remember”
“Darn that didn’t work” I mumbled to myself.
“Nope” As he got closer to the water I started to laugh. “Ready” he held me above his head
“No” He walked into the water until he was neck deep.
“Tuff” He threw me in deep water, grabbed me and pulled me back up. I was soaking.“Oh my gosh. You will seriously regret that” I whispered.
“I don’t think so” He replied. I smiled. He grabbed my hips and kissed me. his lips were cold and soft. “I love you” He whispered into my lips.
“I love you too” I replied at this moment I felt the happiest I had ever felt in my whole life…
