Know thyself! An ancient command, but surpassingly hard to do.
Yet, unless I know myself, how can I describe me to you?
What are we, really, all of us? Memories and experience?
Anything more than mere circumstance and genetic accidents?
Puppets on some created stage, with fates and lines predestined?
Regardless of the ultimate cause, I have some things to mention:
I'll talk about god, but have little use for buildings with steeples.
Love animals, especially dogs. I like them more than most people.
I enjoy my marriage and daughter, am happy with hearth and home.
I also like like finding out new things when I get the chance to roam.
I'm rather an introvert, but like team sports better than the rest.
When I compete, I'd rather lose close than not have a worthy test.
I like to go hiking and biking, but tend to become obsessed
With not turning around on climbing ground without topping the crest.
I love a good beer with good food, and can make both for myself.
Even after 50 good years, I still have remarkable health.
I'm fairly fluent in science and maths, and like a good wordplay.
Wry observations keep me intact with chuckles throughout the day.
If this "About Me" seems too tardy, know I am a slow thinker.
Or as my wife may be wont to express it succinctly, "You stinker!"
