Hello again, and today is Thursday, March 7, 2013. Most everybody here on Opuss speaks English. Now, we all speak in an accent. It may seem like we speak normal when we converse with other people around us in the everyday, but to others, the accent seems foreign. So I want to ask y'all what accent do you have and what are some of it's quarks? For instance when I say the word "water" I pronounce it like "wood-er" instead of the more accepted way of saying it. Also I occasionaly change my "L"s into "W"s and give my "W"s a bit of ole fashioned southern drawl. Those are just a few of many quarks and anomalies in the accent that I have and ways I just learned to pronounce things. What quarks or anomalies do you have in your accent?
As always,
ZenMercury,
Keep calm, and y'accen's awl thi cunchol ova thi way yi' speak tha' chu got.
(Your accent is all the control over the way you speak that you have.)
