3.Birthdays

Hallo nochmal, und willkommen. In Deutsch! No. Not in German. Thats just the hello. Now on to the topic at hand: birthdays. Why is this topic today? This topic is today because my birthday is today. Back on topic, the celebration of the birthday seems strange to me if I really look at it. I mean, we celebrate the child that did nothing except leave thier
mother's womb. If anything we should celebrate the parents, especially the mother who was able to survive the trauma of child birth. Or celebrate the doctirs and nurses that helped deliver the child and keep the mother alive. In this situation the child is being celebrated, but has done nothing. Maybe that's what's so special about the child; they were the only exception, they were the only one (or ones in the case of twins, triplets, etc.) that kept on doing what they were doing. Or in the words of internet and urban slang: “they be chill”. Maybe that's why we celebrate them and not the people around them.
