You're aggressive,
But that's just your temperament.
You may have hit the roof
But it wasn't what you meant.

It's just in your nature,
To make a young girl cry.
I'm sure your lack of logic
Hides the real reason why.

It's obvious to see
It was a lack of education.
You can see that kind of anger
Imbedded in the generation.

So as you scream bloody murder,
For a reason I don't know,
It's just a little man putting
On a big man show.

But it always tugs my heart strings
To see my family distressed,
So I will apologise
And to a child will regress.

But I am an adult now,
And while you are my dad
I won't let you put me down
Just because you're feeling mad.

I will stand up for myself.
Say all I need to say.
Because now is the time.
