Would you class yourself as ordinary? If not why not? Is there something that defines you as a person?
If there is then you have just defined yourself as a person, am I wrong? Would you say that all people are unique? Everyone is different, you could say.
So by definition, that thing that makes you different makes you unique, would you agree?
If so then you, like everyone else, are unique. And you have also suggested that there is something that defines you and makes you unique.
So unless my logic is flawed that thing that makes you unique also makes you the same as everybody else.
That thing that defines you is your personality and, yes, it is a contradiction. You are a contradiction.
Now you may find that unnerving, or illogical. It is common for society to be afraid of something that it doesn't understand. After all, we fear what we do not know.
Fear, it can also be said, should be faced and some fears are exciting. Roller coasters, horror films.
You are exciting, everything about you. Nothing about you is ordinary and nothing about you is unimportant.
Now go and face your fears, live.
