I might just stay here In bed It's the only place where I don't have to pretend Or use my head
I have time off work No one will know I can be as weak as I like And not have it show
Pull my head under the covers Just me and a cup of tea Maybe watch a few films On how maybe life ought to be
Wallow in self pity No one cares They can't see I'm damaged and alone Never free
