If you can not handle people disagreeing with your thoughts and blogs and questioning your stories here, you will fail at life.

@ammeyelwal @blindsilence can I just say that although this is not social networking, Last I checked it was put under social network in the App Store- jut saying.

Fb is total rubbish! I only stay on it to arrange meet ups with other mums, as it's an easy place for us all to do that now and again. To some extent (as with most things in life), you have to learn to take what bits you find useful, then ignore the rest. It's easier to do this if you try to Keep Things Simple... I therefore only have around 30 people on my 'friends' list and I don't care a jot what anyone may think about that. And of anyone becomes overly annoying, they get 'culled'!!! I understand what @blindsilence is saying, (if a little harshly...!) Some people find this stuff easier to take than others (some have had to learn to grow a 'thick skin' to survive...) It's frustrating as hell sometimes, this 'technological age', you just gotta get it working FOR you, not taking over YOUR LIFE!!! Well, that's all I have to say on the matter. Good Luck 😉😘😘

Facebook to me has always been a place to play games and joke with friends, I never make horrid comments or talk about anything serious as I wouldn't do that in the street so why do it in the virtual street? I do believe FB is a good thing overall but it's just like anything else in life, some idiots spoil for others and some people let them

@blindsilence @patdolan83 @MrsS personally I just see Facebook for what it is. But if you choose to say something horrid in your stud you shouldn't really say it at all. Why bother befriending folk that are acquaintances in the first place. Don't get it. Like mrs s it's an easy way to keep in touch and arrange.

@ammeyelwal Life can be tough sometimes, and we ALL say things we might regret (even just a little...) now and then. Fb isn't quite as bad as we often feel it is (there, I judged quickly and harshly of it too, in my own frustration!! @eddie12309 😳😁😉) Decide what it is you want to use it for and stick with that, I'd say. Just try not to get caught up in stuff that doesn't matter and nasty comments. I almost always find that the best response to something nasty, especially if it begins to escalate after you've tried to be nice, is to back off completely and go silent. Silence can say a lot more than any words can in those situations! The person instigating / fuelling / verbally attacking usually wants some tinder for the fire - give nothing to burn and the flame should eventually go out - and don't forget - you should be able to delete posts (and people!) if it gets too much 😉😘

Wait there is more, again I quote: 'speak freely without someone slating/disagreeing with you and feeling the need to cause havoc and arguments' So, as you can see, I was perfectly justified in my response to this blog and also the comments that were left. Now, just because I have a different view to you it does not mean I am correct, nor does it mean you are. I will however reiterate that you have committed the 'offences' here on Opuss that made you leave Facebook. I have not slated you, I have given you a different perspective on life. You, as you are entitled to, have ignored it but have taken it as some kind of personal attack, I guess either because you are young or are insecure in your self. In the future if you do not want anyone to comment on your blogs please make it perfectly clear in your blog so that people do not commit the offence of having a different view to your own.

@blindsilence everyone's entitled to their opinion. You have a clear one too. I don't bind people commenting on my blogs but it was the way you worded it.
