I loved those days. I never felt down.
But those are just memories to me now,

I had that dream again.. That dream where you held my hand like you used to. That dream where you picked me up so that our faces met and I wrapped my legs around your waist, like you used to.
Remember those times, When all was sweet. Nothing was sour; It was an endless treat. Think of the days, Of you and me. When we loved each other, It was plain to see.
I miss happily losing sleep. Now I just lose sleep. I miss those little morning messages. Those beautiful little beeps. I miss wasting time together doing nothing. Now I just waste time on regret.
Today is the anniversary. Of the end of me and you. Forgive me for a while. Indulge my being blue. We would sit for hours. Underneath the shadowy moon. Hold hands and laugh a lot.
Isn't it strange where the mind will wander, When given nothing else to ponder... To that perfect day We lay in the grass, Let our hearts entwine, And the hours pass.
I found you. I finally found you over after all these years of waiting, The one I've been praying about and hoping for. We were indestructible in a way that defies even the closest couple.
I switched on the radio, And heard that familiar tune, The song you used to sing for me, whenever I was with you.
Unfortunately there goes the tail of any of my 3 relationships. As soon as the fun stops, we drift. Fantastically relatable. 😃
