Math can be called a language as far as the abstract concept of a language is concerned.

Language is a method developed by sentient entities to enable structured thought, and communication of said thoughts.

In this sense maths fits as a language as it can be recorded and utilised individually or as a group for structured reasoning.

As you would describe a sunset's superfluous attributes, you might describe its temperature, intensity, or mass; given prior knowledge.

The innate contrives of a language exist in maths just like any other language as well, radioactive decay is given by a function which states that it will never be benign.
