Driving down life boulevard
Confined within striped white lines
Overwhelmed by the multiple "one way" signs
Clearly indicating the impossibility to return backwards.
The regrets overflow creating emotional hazards
Could have's and should have's
All lost on the dark pavement
which continues to stretch onwards
Leaving no choice but to move forwards.
