I know one day I'll be sad, but that shouldn't be too hard to get over.

For I have a family that loves me.

I have possessions that don't mean a thing compared to your eyes.

I have photographs, of your smile that October.

I love and am loved in return, by those who care.

I have had fun on a Friday night, and I have stayed alone on Sundays.

I have jumped at concerts, to the beat of a thousand others.

I have read books that have changed my life.

And I know, I will be fine.
I know, not everything works out.
