I am currently staying in a Hotel in Dubai and telephoned the reception for an adapter last night at about 10pm for the plug sockets. I only have one but my iPad needs a lot of juice as I'm busy writing !
"Hello, I wonder if you could send a plug adapter for my room, please ?", "You need adapter ?"the receptionist replied, "Yes I need an adapter please ", I said. "You need adapter", he said again "Yes an adapter", I was only a little impatient but replied again, "Yes if you could send an adapter for the electricity socket that would be great ". "0k I send a adapter to your room",
Ten minutes later the phone rang in the room. "Hello Mr Beer, sorry to bother but I was told that you need adapter ?" It was someone else enquiring this time "Yes I need an adapter please, if you have one ?",I replied again . There was pause and he said,"ok Mr Beer I get you an adapter, you not well ?".
