I never quite knew who lived next door Fleeting glimpses through the curtains They certainly appeared to be very poor That I'm sure was very certain
The house was in a state of total disrepair My Lord the garden was in a terrible state When you walked passed you could only stare The rubbish was piled up from their tatty front gate
It hadn't seen any paint in a good 30 years The guttering all around was hanging off Neighbours walked by and it reduced them to tears Even with all the rubbish was an old pigs trough
Someone lived there as I heard the odd sound When I looked hard I could see some movement Or I thought I could hear digging under the ground To be perfectly honest it was all quite abhorrent
The Council were called enough was enough A van load of men arrived all smoking cigs To get to the door they scrambled all over the stuff After terrible shouts they walked out with a family of pigs
They took them away in a large white truck We heard that the pigs were turned into chops The men came back and cleared up the muck Now they are on special in all good butchers shops
