Sooo... As no one probably noticed I took a break from this for a while. For me it was too much too soon. I started this with the intention of it being something for me and my words but soon it became about followers and likes and one RANKINGS. Oh how I did not like those rankings. I became obsessed with trying to write what I thought people wanted to read rather than writing what I truly wanted to say, which I feel is the ultimate reason that I quickly developed "writer's block" and gave up on Opuss. It wasn't until I stumbled across a lovely, probably impersonal, but all the same personal email from Opuss telling me they missed me. Obviously my first thoughts were about how the creators must be desperate to keep people interested in their site to make money or what not. However, I soon remembered that it was the creators of Opuss who had the lovely idea of creating this website in the first place for people who are, like me, interested in writing and who want a place to share it, even just so they know that maybe someone, somewhere might appreciate it. So on that note I decided to return to Opuss, but I'm doing things differently this time.
I know I have rambled on in this and I know that a lot of people might disagree with or not like some things that I am saying, but as I said, this time my writing is for me. Not you.
