I love the Internet. As well as housing an unlimited supply of pornography it also houses random people who do random stuff and sometimes that random stuff with the help of other random people, becomes stuff of legend, a sneezing panda on YouTube is one example. This morning I was reading over one of my favourite websites: io9.com. I am a geek by admission and this website posts geeky articles and points readers in the direction of things that geeks might find interesting. Today it mentioned a story. This story originated from a user on reddit asking if he took an ass kicking American, of course, Marine Infantry or Battalion back to the times of Augustus, Roman times, could he destroy the entire Roman Empire. Someone answered in the form of flash fiction. The story became quite popular apparently. I don't use reddit, I didn't even know it existed until today. It turns out this person may have actually sold the rights to the idea to some sort of film company, they are called Warner Bros apparently, who ever they are, and it appears a bona-fide screen writer is now writing it for the big screen. Stuff of dreams, at least for me. The whole reddit thread can be viewed here:

Has anyone had anything similar happen to them, here on Opuss or elsewhere?.
