The United States of The Mental are having an election on Tuesday, probably, that will determine who becomes supreme commander of their lands.
Some people are concerned that one of the candidates, a Mitt Romney (yes that is his real name), is a Mormon. They are concerned that if he gets into power he will turn the country into a state resembling something crossed between a David Koresh stylee Branch Davidians community and some random Amish settlement where having a beard is mandatory, for the males at least. Don't worry America because it won't happen as long as you vote for the other guy who is the current commander in chief/overlord, I think his name is Obama something or other.
Some people though are concerned that if Obama wins again the country will not grow economically and socially or some bollocks I am too ignorant to even care about or understand. Some refuse to vote for him, despite agreeing with his policies because he is black, probably. I have no proof but there are racists kicking about all over. Some people insist that Obama is not American (despite the fact he has proven he is) some wont vote for him because they think he follows the teachings of Islam and is a Muslim therefore.
I was watching a video yesterday in which Romney supporters were interviewed. A lady, an ancient one albeit, said she wouldn't vote for Obama because she believed him to be a Muslim and... wait for it... an atheist. What!!.
She believed in God too so she said but presumably not the God she thinks Obama worships... doesn't this mean that even if it was true, by definition, she is also an Atheist and therefore Makes Romney an atheist?. My head hurts too much right now to even try to work out the sheer philosophical and spiritual meaning and intent behind this.
The point is. Religion should not be a reason to vote for or against someone because the fact of matter is, God does not exist. All gods do not exist. They are all made up. Thor, Zeus, Apollo all of them.
