by Me, Emily.
Do you know what you will do to him?
Do you know how he'll be?
Do you know what will become of him?
Do you know what I see?
I see a broken body, sore,
I see a tortured mind.
I see a boy turned bitter, but
He was once so kind.
I see one saddened soul, destroyed.
I see one pained, now grown.
So much damage can quickly come,
From being left alone.
Your words can act as swords and stones,
That pierce and tear and bruise.
Your words can be as lethal if,
They are correctly used.
Your words can build somebody up, or quickly tear them down.
If a person cries and no one hears, will he make a sound?
Of course he will, of course he will!
But who is there to hear?
The bruises on his face or,
the puddle of his tears?
You don't know what you'll do to him,
And you do not know the pain.
So instead of helping to break a heart,
Don't let it happen again.
