I lifted my back from the dirt, pulling my arms free of the grass's green grip.
Paul's eyes widened.
"Someone take pictures!" he yelled.
I watched, confused, as Carrie scrambled for her cell phone camera.
"The sun is hitting you *perfectly*, Em!" Paul cried. "You look so cool! Strike a pose!"
I blinked, not really sure what to make of everything. So I didn't really strike a pose. I just looked around, smoothing my hair nervously.
Finally, I decided to pose. I did what felt natural, and let my arms fly from
me, looking up into the sky.
"You're wearing a grass dress, Emily," Carrie said. "It looks so cool."
I smiled, and they took more pictures. Then, I dusted my grassy frock from my body and stood up.
