I was speechless. Absolutely speechless at the picture that stood before me on my computer screen.
I was in my grass dress, looking off into the sky. My arms were gracefully lifted up towards the sun. My pale skin glowed.
"This can't be me," I thought, staring at the stunning girl in the picture. "This can't be me."
My parents raved over the pictures. They absolutely adored them. My mom wanted both the one of my eyes and my grass dress on her Facebook wall so all of her friends could see me.
I was in disbelief.
Just 5 days prior, I had cut my left wrist out of pain of how ugly and worthless I felt. And now, everyone was going crazy for the Grass Girl pictures. I had just made the eyes one my profile picture and everyone was loving it.
I didn't know what to think...
And it all faded away, until just yesterday...
