For the longest time I've been friends with this adorable guy that I met on the Internet. He's from Texas and has the same religious views that I do. We have a lot to talk about and not enough time to talk about it. So keep this in mind, as this tale becomes quite a bit more complicated and a very large chunk more entertaining. I sat at the kitchen table, having a drink of water and making plans with Paul and Sally. When randomly, my phone started buzzing, announcing an incoming call. I saw the unrecognizable number (I'd been texting him but I hadn't saved his number on my phone yet) and simply hit decline. But then, my eyes widened...the number...was from Texas. I quickly went to my texting conversation and saw that the number matched the one that had just called me. "Oh my gosh," I thought, bolting upstairs. I quickly hit "call back" and pressed my phone to my ear. My heart hammered with excitement. We'd never talked on the phone before. He'd never heard my voice. "Hello?" He asked. "Is it really you?" I cried. "Did you call me?" He chuckled. "Yeah, I did." I couldn't believe it. We were talking! We could hear each other! We called for only 5 minutes, before I decided it was time to go. The entire time he made me laugh, and he viewed that as an accomplishment. I couldn't believe it. He'd actually called me...it...was so.........
Later, while I was at Sally's house with Paul, I was texting this boy. He asked if we could call again, but I decided I'd probably get in trouble for talking on the phone with a guy I didn't even know in person, even though I knew so much about him and knew he wasn't a predator. His reply was, "NOOOOOOOOO
your voice. XD" "What about it?" I replied, smiling. "It's amazing. I love it!" I gasped, covering my hand with my mouth. Sally asked what happened, and I showed her the texts. "AWWWWWW!" She yelled, hugging me. "Em, that's so sweet!" I giggled, and kept texting him. Paul simply just looked on, blank-faced.
