I look into a sheet of glass,
And see another me..
I stare at it, abrupt, aghast!
Why does it look like me?
I wave my hand and wiggle my nose,
And talk to it aloud..
On my feet and on my toes,
It does the same, no doubt!
Is it another me who's stuck,
Between a glass window..?
Or have I got a shard of luck,
And I'm dreaming sure, I know!
I touch the glass with my palm,
It feels cold against my skin..
I try to be composed and calm,
It could as well be my twin..?
I wave and laugh and talk all day,
Its friendly enough to me..
But there's nothing left to say,
It doesnt say much to me..
I see it now everyday,
In the big sheet of glass..
Another me, with not much to say,
I no longer stare aghast!
