"You didnt see a nandos van, did you?" he asked, but I had to tell him I lied anyway. "ERM, it was me on the phone, that's how I got your address. So I came here, to see if you were in, and to ask you why you gave me your number." It was hard to say all that but it came out as a big blur anyway. " Well, okay, I'm in, and I gave you my number because I wanted to know if you wanted to see each other sometime." said his adorable Irish accent. I told him that I would love to meet up and did he want my number, So I gave him my number and headed for the door awkwardly. He stopped me and asked I I wanted anything, a drink or a bite to eat but I told him that Liam had made me a coffee, or at least that's what HE called it. He opened the door and I stepped outside. "Byebye" I smiled, he replied with Sleep well and I walked down the road, back home, to 9 Peterson Way.

I glanced at my watch as I stepped inside; only quarter to 6, I've been gone only half an hour, although, back at Nialls, it seemed like a century. Dad was in the kitchen, making dinner with James (9) I ran up to my room and decided it needed a makeover to match my feelings at the moment. Besides, I've had it pink and yellow since I was 9 or 10, I can't remember. However, 6 years of the same room is more than long enough. I went back downstairs as it was too late to start now. I picked out a Miranda episode and watched it. My phone rang halfway through it so I put it on pause and sped up to my room. Rummaging around in my bag, I found lip gloss, mascara, polo mints, chewing gum, spare coppers and silvers, my purse, and my phone. Damn it, Caller ID isn't set up yet ( I got a new phone for my birthday so I havnt done all the mobblybobly bits yet) "Hello?"
"hi is this Ellie?"
"Um yeah, whose calling please?"

"I was wondering if you wanted to go to Shakeaway sometime?"

"Yeah, sure, when would you, like, wanna do it?"
