The Magic Day 7 : The Magical Way Out Of Negativity

I was expecting more from this chapter of the book im reading to help me be positive and happy. I did the usual 10 things to be grateful for and honestly, this is sad, but... Im either running out of things to write down or im just not being too creative and open minded. But just the same i was able to fill in 10 blessings! Good enough!

Basically this chapter tells you that whatever problem it is YOU HAVE TO LOOK AT THE BRIGHT SIDE. If you have no work you can think that you are grateful for the free time you have. Be grateful that you can still apply for a job. That you have your health and education to actually be a potantial job applicant. If you have a troubled relationship with your parents think of the times they gave you birthday gifts or brought you to theme parks. Think of the times they cared for you when you were sick. How they bathed you and fed you.

This chapter says that taking things for granted results into complaining hence negativity. And as the law of attraction dictates the more you complain the more you bring more things into your life you complain about.

I had to think of one problem or negative situation in my life... I had to choose only one. Then look for 10 things to be grateful for. As difficult as it sounds, it was more difficult to choose which problem i want to pick to do this practice. It was actually easier to find the 10 things i am grateful for from the negative situation i chose.

The chapter said that i will feel better after i show gatitude from the negative situation. You know its working when you feel lighter. At first i couldnt comprehend this but after i reread what i was grateful for.... I actually felt lighter and inspired!

Now im wondering why i did this only for one negative issue. I guess i can do this with my other issues after i finish the book. Im following the directions as properly as i can so one negative issue for now as the book said.

All in all this was a good practice. I guess i should make this a habit and always see the good in every situation. Although i might appear as a nut case to other people, for now i dont care what others think.

Basically to get away from negativity dont complain and look for something to be grateful for. If youre about to complain STOP the say something to be grateful for. If youre about to complain about the traffic STOP then think how grateful you are you have your car. Makes sense actually.
