Not really sure if this is going to be a one off or the beginning of a story, but I suppose that's up to you!
I sit in my cold, dark cell, staring aimlessly at the plain walls. I have been here for god knows how long, but tonight. I escape. I have a plan. Sort of. I have no idea where I am or the layout of the building, but I know how I will get out of the cell. Footsteps outside. It's the guard. I groan loudly. He stops. I groan again. He knocks on the door. "what's going on in there?" "huurgh" I position myself behind the door. "oi!" he walks in. I slam the door in his face, spin round and elbow him in the ribs. He doubles over, groaning in pain, and before he has time to recover, I knee him in the face, flipping him back on to the hard concrete floor. As I leap over him, he reaches out with his last ounce of strength, just catching my ankle, sending my legs back and my head forward. The floor rushes up to me, ready to smash my skull to pieces, but I manage to pull into a roll, and I come up running. Another guard stands in front of me. Arms wide, legs apart, ready to stop me in my tracks. But instead of stopping, turning around, or even slowing down, I do what he least expects. I run harder and faster, my feet slapping against the wet concrete. I then dive through his legs, roll and dash away, close to escape...
Please comment and tell me what you think and whether it not I should continue!
