Yesterday I introduced a new plant into my goldfish's tank. I'm fairly sure its presence is driving him quietly insane. Whenever he swims towards it, an invisible force seems to pull him away, and he has developed a kind of melancholy. Sometimes I worry I wasn't emotionally cut out to own a goldfish.
