We know that the world is a horrible place.
It's not going to change with that look on your face.
Try to remember the reason you're there,
Before you decide that life isn't fair.
The soapbox is broken from speech after speech,
We've heard it before, you don't need to preach.
Some of us heard is quite clearly first time,
Those who ignored it committed the crime.
So sit down and think as your messages failed,
The audience tired and many have bailed.
Remember that message delivered in haste,
Will not be enacted and simply a waste.
A story put out in a cunning disguise,
Will focus the ears and open the eyes.
So try to be subtle and temper the rage,
And get back down from your soapbox stage.
