A war of words is sometimes absurd
Being aggressive wont get your voice heard
Don't have a tantrum, when things don't go your way
Take a step back and re consider what you say
No one is perfect, we all make mistakes
But quarrels on Opuss! Is it really the place?
Some youngsters take offence, when none is intended
But misunderstandings can soon be mended
I don't think it's too much for adults to be given respect
Or for some of the young to keep their attitudes in check!
As adults we have a duty to teach by example
Be kind and on the youth try not to trample
I love Opuss for contributions made by the young and the old
But when I see unkind words it leaves me feeling cold.

@sjw indeed, this platform is a great place to embark on a wonderful writing journey, it should not be a place to hinder the young here because of a minority of youngsters who are inconsiderate to others good intentions & advice. Burrfoot handled the situation well, it's a huge shame such language was used. I am still shocked of what's taken place -especially here on this beautiful community.

@sjw it would absolutely not still be going on. People need to leave it be. This drama seems to happen every week on Opuss, it's partly why I left for 2 months. If everyone would stop feeling the need to get involved and simply ignored her disgusting comments, she would have shut up by now.
@Jamtots not sure it's weekly or thankfully I've just missed them but they do come up often and I think like you say others getting involved doesn't help, I think it puts a lot of people off 😏 glad your back tho and stick around 😘
