"Murderous Hearts"

Watch out! You'll hurt her!" The boy screamed, pushing Doctor Jasper to the wall as he stepped out of Daniel's room.

"Do you watch where your going?!" He screamed at him, his hands shaking holding onto the Doctors arms.

"Oh excuse me!" Dr. Jasper immeditately apologized, looking around for a woman. "Hmm..." He paused. "No excuse you. There's no around kid! Now take your hands off me, and run along now with your.. imaginary girlfriend." He paused & said trying to antagonize the patient.

"This, this is how the world ends! You! I'm real! I'm real! She's real! These murderous hearts are real, we're surrounded by them Doctor..." He screamed and slowed his voice into a low whisper, shaking Dr. Jasper and hitting the wall until his fists were bloodied as he paused then whispered, "Help me... Help me..." Clenching onto the Doctors coat as the guards in their white uniforms fought to pull him off.

Hysterically laughing the blond boy yelled, "See you soon Doctor!"

As the guards secured him and brought him to his room. Dr. Jasper stood quietly a moment lost in thought, caught off guard by Tressa's voice.

"You already liked I see, my dear." She said brushing him off and smiling. "I take it went well, you look in a good mood."

"Right. Mr. Blair wants to talk to you, and where do I find Maxwell?" He said bleakly.

"Down the hall, through the double doors, can't miss it. Am I in trouble?"
She asked with a frown.

"Tressa, I'm not the one to answer that. I'll talk to you soon" He said and kissed her on the forehead and walked off.

She ignored him and turned towards the door to Daniel's room, as her hands reached for her keys she heard a scream echo off the halls, dropping the keys to ground holding back a scream of her own. Suddenly an uproar of noise so loud she could feel the linolium flooring beneath her feet shaking and what sounded like an explosion. Terrified and fumbling to pick up the keys, the lights went out as the sound stopped.

Moments later she could hear patient after patient begin to scream and she pushed herself against the cold wall. Feeling something hit her foot violently, she began moving down the hall on her hands and knees in the dark, trying not to scream listening to Daniel's horrifying screams and pleas for help...
