Apocalypse A To Z

Apocalypse,
Burning the earth,
Cutting it into pieces,
Destroying & upturning the dirt,
Emptying essence for all it's worth,
Freezing the world over in ice,
Gauging out the worlds eyes,
Haunting the last of existences cries,
Ice & fire meet on the battle grounds,
Jeering & taunting the lost & found,
Killing souls wrapped & hell bound,
Livid, tied to anguish, reaching,
Marked bones with a reapers touch,
Nested into deaths crutch,
Opiate of the masses,
Prying under earths looking glasses,
Quick sand at my feet,
Rising, raptured from beneath,
Sheathing a false sense of security,
Tearing at the back of my teeth,
Under a witches spell,
Vines around my neck, forget to breathe,
Waking into an apocalyptic dream,
Xerox copies of life,
Years imprinted on a death certificate,
Zero ways to guide this restless spirit.
