Masked Mime

Iron hands
in velvet gloves,
With painted tears
meant to last,
A million words
behind a mimes mask,
Hands pressed against
the invisible box of glass,
Center stage, curtain call,
Roses falling
from the balcony,
Scarlet colors the ground,
Standing in silence
in between
gunfire & violence,
Motionless,
Laugh now, cry later,
Emotions painter,
Fists shattering
the glass box,
Falling through darkness,
Slowly the world stops,
Silence against the clock,
Caught by
the second hand,
Trapped in a
glass boxes shadowlands.
