Acting up like this.
Stomping round the kitchen,
Swearing with a hiss!

OMG you drama queen!
What's gotten into you?
Slamming doors and banging
I haven't got a clue?

Yes I forgot the chicken
And dinner will be late!
It won't be the first time
That you've had to wait?

Went to the pub and had a beer
Whilst I stayed home and cleaned
Didn't think about our lunch
Plodded on and day dreamed!

You think because you went out
That I have got the hump
that i had not cooked your dinner
Because I think you are a chump?

Well it's not true, I just forgot
You know it's not like me,
So maybe you should ask yourself
What other reason there could be?

Oh shock horror, do you think
Maybe I "just forgot"
And you could see it for what it is
In stead you lost the plot?

Mumble, mumble, mumble!
Carry on your Chunt
Your silhouette through the door
I see you, "mumble & grunt"!

So now you've had your dinner
And your calm and being nice
But I'm not talking to you
You'll have to pay the price!

I'm sure tomorrow will restore
Things back to how they were?
Normal practice in our home
Today forgotten, just a blurr!
