It's getting close now, Christmas
It will soon be here
Waking up on Christmas morning
To the festive cheer
You've worked so hard
So it will be just fine
Planned and shopped and wrapped
And sipped a little wine
Didn't go to bed till late
Made sure that all was done
Finally slipped into bed
Must have been half past one
But that was when you knew
That all would be well
As you lay half asleep
And heard that sleigh bell

Its the day before christmas eve. I always used to think that christmas eve eve was better than the actual christmas because it was more exiting.
#adventchallenge. Deck the halls. With boughs of holly. Pretend to all. You're feeling jolly. Tinsel, tree. And mistletoe. Mask a heart. As cold as snow. Through the tears. Relief is sought.

#adventchallenge. S ometimes in the dead of night. N ot that anyone knows. O ut of mind and out of sight is. W here a snowflake goes. F alling softly through the air. L anding on the ground.
#adventchallenge. The snowflake falls. Steadily down but it knows. That if it settles. Where everyone goes. They'll make another snowman. And the snowflakes don't care.
#adventchallenge. I sit and look out of the window. There is a street lamp near by. As I stare into the night. I see a snowflake fly. Each one an individual. Such beauty all of its own.
#adventchallenge Glinting baubles, Sparkling stars, Twinkling icicles, Shining sunlight bars. Artificial snow, Dainty fairy lights, Shielding presents, Wrapped up tight.
Sleigh bells ring Overhead, Children wait Tucked up in bed, Reindeer dash Across the sky, A glass of milk And a mince pie, Left for Santa Christmas Eve, Though I'm grown up I still believe In Xmas...
