"Kick him hard Oliver!"
"Yeah!"
"To the ground!"
It was 5pm behind the sports hall. Finn Brown was trembling, his knobbly knees quivering, his teeth chattering. I was standing there with my boyfriend Oliver Claw who was with his gang of vicious lions growling and striding along proudly, acting... Tough. I couldn't help shivering myself. I was so worried yet too scared to tell Oliver just in case he got me too.
No one disagrees with Oliver - and I wasn't planning too.
"Are you cold babe?" Oliver turned to me, his icy blue eyes freezing me, "Here." He wrapped his coat around me tightly, securing me, trapping me. "Go by the swings for a bit eh?" Oliver ordered "this won't take long." Then suddenly he kissed me. All of the other boys hooted and howled, making wolf whistles. This kiss wasn't out of love... It was out of popularity. I obeyed and shuffled over to the swings, kicking pebbles. I sat on the swing, staring at the clouds in the distance. Suddenly I heard screaming and brutal noises. Oliver's jacket suddenly felt too tight. I felt dizzy and confused feeling my eyes pricking with tears and rolling down my cold cheeks.
"Stop..." I whispered. My mouth felt dry like cotton wool as I stood up and turned around to see Finn sprawled out, drowning in blood. Oliver got loud high fives from all of the gang as I stumbled over, shocked at all of the destruction he had caused. "Pizza," Oliver grinned putting his arm around me securely "on me!"
I was ignoring everything he was saying as I stared at Finn helplessly. I thought: 'why didn't I help him? I shouldn't go out with Oliver but... How can I tell him?' But before I could think for an answer I was led away into the autumn winds, in the palm of Oliver's hands...
