Unacceptable

As you may have noticed, as you may of found,
When my feet hit the pavement, they make a different sound.
Whilst yours go clip and clop, mine seem to slip and slop.
I drag my feet apparently, and this is unacceptable. As a lady doing this i found it quite respectable.
To be the only one it the street, to have a different sound from my feet.

And upon my face a smile would form, whilst all the other ladies scorn.
I slip and slop away from them, whilst they hide their grief from their friends,

They wished they had the power too, to do exactly what they want to do.
As their jealous eyes are up in flames, For I am a girl who wouldn't be tamed.
