Dear 2012,

I'm sad to see you go, for despite our differences, we actually had some good times. I know we started off thinking it would be okay but it didn't last did it? And cursing at you didn't help, it wasn't your fault. So I'm sorry that I blamed it on you and your friends January (who really kickstarted the year with a 'wow') and February. February actually had a great time at one point but then it all went downhill. Even her favourite cousin, Valentine, got ignored. They weren't to blame so tell them I'll apologise in person soon.

As the months went on 2012, you tried to help me and I know that :) who knew you had such a caring streak in you! Pass my love to March, April and May for giving me my last few weeks of happiness. I appreciate all the sun and the concerts that they brought my way.

Oh please tell June and July that we'll catch up again sometime and start afresh, there was just too much drama this time around. I know they're you're friends but it just wasn't a good time to start anew. I'll think of something more fun to do with them the next time around.

Luckily August took me away and that was best for everyone. I got to be a tourist in a new land, do something new and catch a tan. We had a blast, and even though there was some drama, it was still good. August really looked out for, and maybe we'll do the same again next year? I'll let you know!

Anyway it was nice of September, October and November to chip in and try to make me extra happy! Those guys sure know how to play hard and make the time fly by, even in those cold, dark nights. September and October just blew me away. I love those guys! I know November was caught up reminiscing so hopefully next year there'll be lots of memories to look over.

As for December, well in the end it was just us three right. I dreaded December's birthday cos it's a time for celebration/love/happiness and I didn't have anything be joyful about. Well besides living through the apocalypse but that never happened! But that December, he's just as sneaky as he was last year. He gave me a reason to be thankful for on Christmas, the sweetheart. And now he's got me looking forward to 2013, oh will you tell him he's the best for me as I toast to his goodbyes one more time?

So 2012, it's been fun, it's been heartbreaking, tearful and just unbelievable. It's been a whole lot of love. You did right by me in the end, a lot better than 2011 right! (I know, he's still a dick but at least November stepped up for him).

Tell 2013 to raise its game up with more love and fun, I don't wanna cry this time around unless its happy ones. Oh and to get August ready for the same fun all over again - with no drama this time!
