Chapter 3
So I had my new name and I had new furniture, clothes and shoes/ accessories.
When home dad started building my bookshelf, chest of draws and wardrobe.
"so Lacey what shall we do? To celebrate your staying?" mum asked, I thought and Jess thought. "how about 'Nando's' or 'pizza express'?" Jessie asked, I nodded, "pizza express sounds good, mum?" mum nodded.
About 6pm we were sat down at pizza express eating extra cheesy and garlic bread, "our breaths will stink!" dad laughed, we then had pizza, (mine a double cheese, Jess's a pepperoni, mums a plain cheese and dad a triple meatza).
once we were all finished we all a MASSIVE ice cream which dad mostly finished.
When we got home, me and Jess were sent to bed, "Lace? Don't you hate your name?" Jess asked, thought about it, "well no not really, but sort of yeah. It isn't normal and that's why I suppose I don't hate it," I replied as I got into my tatty teddy pj's.
The next morning, Jess was asleep next to me when I woke up, "Oi! This is my bed Jess!" I said poking her, she stirred, "uhhh, what! Hang on why am I in here?" she said confused, I giggled, "I don't know, now get out of my bed!" I said pushing her out, she landed with a thump, "hey!! That hurt!" she laughed jumping back onto my bed, we ended up rolling up and down on the floor play fighting and laughing, just then mum came in, "what are you doing girls? Jess, Lacey?" mum asked,
We were still rolling around on the floor, "oh just fighting, nothing to worry about and mum can we change my first name? Lacey is just weird!" I said rolling around still laughing, mum laughed at us, "you are funny girls! And no you can't change your name sweetheart, you wouldn't be the same." mum said hugging me. I frowned. But I excepted it.
