@Burrfoot yeah I agree!! It's very disrespectful but probably some traditional thing or something!! Maybe we could have a whip round and buy a big candle??
@smellyfingers @Burrfoot well apparently there is now a huge demand for tickets to them so hopefully they'll be given the respect they deserve in the future.
@Burrfoot @MrsS @chy @leelee101 @smellyfingers - I think it's such a shame that they are not considered equal! Why not do it all together?
@Burrfoot - yeh!! Just like men's and woman's took time to come together, Paralympics men's and woman's should be there too.
@naaviie there was a paraolympic bloke running in the men's race so don't see why not altho IMO I'm not too sure some disabled athletes would be able to compete with able bodied athletes but I think it should all be done at same time, somehow
@smellyfingers - I think they are just a different category - so just have something like 'men's 100m', 'Paralympic men's 100m', 'woman's 100m' etc etc
@naaviie @smellyfingers @Burrfoot they have different categories and classes in the Olympics right do why can't they just do it like that as nic suggested? Guess the Big Wigs little grey cells haven't figured it out... Or maybe they want to have their own separate... But either way they shouldn't be treated like second class. They should get the same respect as the Olympics.
